Council Members’ Code of Ethics
the members of Eunpyeong District Council shall earn the trust of the inhabitants by faithfully fulfilling their duties
and shall contribute to improving the community and inhabitants’ welfare by maintain the highest level of dignity and honor.
The council members shall comply with and practice the following provisions.

As the representatives of the inhabitants, we shall cultivate our characters and knowledge, act respectfully and with integrity and fully represent the opinions of the inhabitants.

As the servants of the inhabitants, we shall fulfill our duties with respect for the law and in best interest of the people.

We shall lead an upright and modest lifestyle and not solicit inappropriate benefits or exercise influence on others.

We shall faithfully reflect inhabitants’ opinions through our council activities and carry out our duties for public purposes.

As the members of Eunpyeong District Council, we shall have mutually equal opportunities, solve problems through sufficient amount of discussion and comply with the laws, regulations and proper processes.
